Our Full-Service Home Furnishing and Design Process

Some clients come to us for full house furnishing. Others are looking to furnish one or two rooms or refresh a room with a few well-chosen pieces.
Whatever the scope, our role stays the same: simplify the decisions, offer expert guidance, and create a cohesive plan that fits your home and how you live in it.
We start with a call to learn about your home, your goals, and the kind of transformation you're considering. This conversation helps us get a feel for your project, answer your questions, and figure out whether we're the right fit.
During the consultation, we tour your home together to see how each space is being used now and how you'd like it to work. We go through your wish list, talk through priorities, discuss your investment range, and point out opportunities you may not have considered.
Once the scope of the project is clear, we provide a transparent flat-rate design fee.
Once we're retained, we dig into the details we need to start designing.
For furnishing projects, we verify measurements, document the existing space, and gather what we need to put a cohesive furnishing plan together. This step makes sure every design decision is rooted in a real understanding of your space.
With a clear picture of your home and project goals, we start developing the design.
Every project includes thoughtful space planning to make sure the layout, functionality, and flow actually support how you live.
From there, we work through the design direction, selections, and specifications needed to bring it all together. Depending on the scope, that might include furnishings, lighting, window treatments, artwork, and styling.
We present the design and walk you through the key decisions needed to move forward.
For furnishing projects, presentations can happen in your home through our traditional process or in our studio through Design Day, where selections can be reviewed, refined, and finalized in a single focused appointment.
Our goal is always to give you clear recommendations, simplify the decisions, and help you feel confident moving ahead.
Once the design is approved, we coordinate the many moving pieces required to bring it to life.
We handle purchasing, supplier coordination, scheduling, logistics, delivery, and final styling, making sure the design vision carries all the way through to completion.
The project wraps up with a final walkthrough alongside your designer. We go over every detail, take care of any last adjustments, and make sure your home is exactly as it should be, ready for you to fully enjoy.

Every project is different, and timelines depend on the scope of work, construction schedules, and product lead times.
For furnishing projects, custom upholstery and case goods usually take around 12 weeks from the time orders are placed.
One of the biggest perks of working with a full-service team is that we handle the scheduling, communication, and coordination throughout, keeping things moving as smoothly as possible.

Because most of the furnishings and materials we order are custom, made-to-order, or selected specifically for your home, returns generally aren't possible.
That said, we take a lot of care in sourcing every piece. If something arrives damaged or doesn't meet our standards, our team handles it directly with the supplier on your behalf.
