Our clients found their forever home in their ideal neighbourhood; however, it needed a little reworking to truly fit their lifestyle. While the goal was to modernize the dated kitchen, we also refinished the hardwood floors and smoothed the ceilings to create a more cohesive feel throughout.
By removing the wall between the kitchen and family room, we opened up the space and completely transformed how it functions. A breakfast bar and dedicated coffee station were added, and we closed off the laundry room entrance to gain valuable counter space.
A stone-look tile floor brings in texture, while warm grey cabinetry adds a soft, grounded contrast. Lighter finishes throughout help bounce around all that beautiful natural light. Now, the kitchen works effortlessly for their everyday life, especially those mornings spent at the breakfast bar with a smoothie in hand.
