Kitchen Renovations in Ottawa
A fully guided experience, from first concept to final reveal
A kitchen renovation is one of the most complex, most visible investments you'll make in your home. A successful project requires hundreds of decisions, careful coordination, and attention to every detail.
When you work with CPI Interiors, we take all of that off your plate.
We're a full-service interior design firm specializing in high-end kitchen renovations in Ottawa. That means we don't design your kitchen and hand you a floor plan to figure out the rest. We handle the design, coordinate the contractor, select every finish and fixture, and source the furnishings and lighting that make the space feel complete and cohesive.
One team. One point of contact. One kitchen that actually comes together even better than you imagined.
What makes a CPI kitchen renovation different
Most Ottawa kitchen renovation companies focus only on the kitchen. Finding a local firm that manages both design and build, as well as handles the furnishings and final styling on top of it, is genuinely rare.
That's what we do.
When you work with CPI Interiors, your dedicated lead designer oversees every aspect of the project and our involvement doesn’t end when the plans are complete.
We're coordinating with our trusted network of Ottawa trades and suppliers, managing timelines, reviewing finishes, and making sure every decision works together toward a single, cohesive result.
Our clients are typically busy professionals and families who don't want to spend evenings and weekends managing a renovation. They want an amazing transformation, and they want a team they can trust to get it done.
If that sounds like you, we should talk.

How much does a kitchen renovation cost in Ottawa?
How long does a kitchen renovation take?
Most kitchen renovations in Ottawa take anywhere from two to five months depending on the scope of work, custom lead times, and contractor availability.
What slows most renovations down isn't the build time; it's lack of coordination. When decisions happen late, materials arrive in the wrong order, and nobody's managing the sequencing, timelines slip.
That's exactly what we prevent.
From the day you retain us, we're tracking lead times, coordinating trades, and keeping your project moving with intention. You'll always know where things stand, without needing to chase anyone down for updates.
Our kitchen renovation process
Every project is different. Our process isn't.
Step 1: Initial call
We start with a conversation about your home, your kitchen, and what you're hoping to change. This helps us understand the scope, answer your questions, and determine whether we're the right fit.
Step 2: In-home consultation
We tour the space together to see how it works now and how you want it to work. We go through your wish list, talk through your investment range, and often point out possibilities you hadn't considered. You leave with a clear sense of what's possible and a flat-rate design fee to move forward.
Step 3: Site visit
Our design team and trusted contractor partners take measurements, assess existing conditions, and review any structural or mechanical considerations before design development begins.
Step 4: Design development
We develop the full kitchen design; layout, cabinetry, finishes, fixtures, lighting, and any furnishing or styling elements. Every selection is intentional, and every detail is resolved before anything gets ordered.
Step 5: Design presentation & approval
We walk you through the complete design and the key decisions needed to move forward. Our job is to give you clear recommendations and the confidence to approve them.
Step 6: Procurement & project management
Once approved, we coordinate purchasing, contractor scheduling, deliveries, site visits, and all the behind-the-scenes logistics. We keep the project moving so you don't have to.
Step 7: Final walk-through
We go through every detail of your finished kitchen with you and your contractor, handle any last adjustments, and make sure the result is exactly what it should be.

Frequently asked questions about doing a kitchen remodel in Ottawa
Do you work with our contractor, or do you bring your own?
We work with a small, trusted circle of Ottawa contractors and trades we've built strong relationships with over the years. They know our process and our standards, which keeps projects running smoothly.
Do you take on partial kitchen updates?
We specialize in full kitchen renovations, not partial updates. That means we're not the right fit for a countertop swap, a backsplash replacement, or a single-element update. Our process is built around transforming a space completely so every decision works together as it should.
Can we live at home during a kitchen renovation?
In most cases, yes, though it depends on the scope. A kitchen renovation typically means some disruption to daily life for the duration of the build. We'll walk you through what to expect early on so you can plan accordingly.
Do I need to have my style figured out before starting a kitchen renovation?
Not at all. Many clients come to us with a feeling they want the space to have, but aren't sure how to get there. Part of our role is helping uncover your style, refine your vision, and guide you toward possibilities you may not have considered on your own.
Ready to renovate your kitchen?
