This kitchen was more than ready for a makeover, and when these clients reached out, they had already spent time considering what they liked and wanted, coming to us with clear priorities and a strong sense of style. As we began the design process, we reviewed and refined their wish list into a cohesive plan, addressing the lack of functional storage by adjusting the layout and maximizing every inch of space through custom cabinetry tailored to their needs.
The existing U-shaped layout posed a challenge for entertaining, as there was no room for an island, so we got creative by extending the countertop along an adjacent wall to form a bar with seating for three, complete with additional storage below. Using the clients’ inspiration as a jumping-off point, we designed a kitchen that fully optimized the footprint and delivered the long-awaited space they had been dreaming of.
