This bathroom was a large space that lacked personality and functional storage, and it didn’t reflect the clients’ fun and funky style. They wanted a space that matched their aesthetic while making the most of the square footage, keeping both a shower and a tub, and providing a place for everything. Drawing inspiration from their beloved teal closet, we incorporated the same colour into the bathroom through the shower tile and key accent pieces, creating a cohesive flow and a playful splash of colour.

A large black hexagon tile makes a bold statement and pairs beautifully with the smaller black-and-white shower floor for contrast, while custom drapery with a small, intricate pattern complements the clean lines of the hexagons. To address awkward angles and unused space, we removed drywall boxes and designed a custom vanity with a laundry hamper and storage tower, maximising functionality. The existing shower was large but impractical, so we added a bench and storage, making it both more beautiful and highly functional.
