Our clients came to us with a kitchen that felt cramped and disconnected from the rest of the main floor, alongside a long, narrow family room that wasn’t being used to its full potential. They also shared a strong connection to nature and wanted the renovation to feel grounded, warm, and timeless, with an earthy palette that reflected their lifestyle and surroundings.

By combining the kitchen and family room, we were able to completely rethink the flow of the main floor. The new layout allowed for significantly more storage and improved functionality, while creating a kitchen that feels open, generous, and inviting. Natural textures and a calm, earthy colour palette were layered throughout the space, and a custom island that serves as both a hardworking prep surface and a natural gathering place, offering flexible seating for everyday use and larger family get-togethers alike.

“We hired CPI Interiors to renovate the main floor of our 1980s house. We came in with a general idea: improving the kitchen layout, making better use of an underutilized living space, and opening up the floor plan as much as possible. They took those ideas and delivered a design that exceeded our expectations. The project stayed on schedule, and clear, consistent communication from start to finish made the entire process smooth and stress-free.

We were thrilled with the final result, and we would highly recommend CPI Interiors to anyone looking for thoughtful, high-quality design. We would absolutely work with them again.”
